Pitch Your NEBULA Model: Urban/Rural Regeneration Projects

Hey, changemakers! Are you passionate about transforming urban and rural spaces? Got a vision for creating sustainable, accessible, beautiful, and inclusive communities? The Pitch your NEBULA model Contest is here to spotlight your innovative ideas. We want YOU to pitch your model and make a difference!

What's NEBULA All About?

NEBULA is an Erasmus+ project inspired by the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative by the European Commission. Our mission is to foster new ways of regenerating spaces, focusing on sustainability, accessibility, aesthetics, and inclusion. We aim to inspire young citizens to reimagine and revitalize urban, rural, and local areas, creating socio-economic value.

Who Can Apply?

We’re looking for:

• Young citizens aged 18-30.
• Individuals or teams of up to 4 members.
• Projects/ideas targeting rural, urban, or local areas in Romania, Italy, France, Ukraine, or Poland.

What We’re Looking For:

Innovative projects that align with NEBULA principles:

• Sustainability: Eco-friendly and resource-efficient solutions.
• Accessibility: Inclusive designs that everyone can access.
• Aesthetics: Spaces that are both beautiful and functional.
• Inclusion: Projects/ideas that foster community engagement and social inclusion.

How to Apply:

Submission Requirements:

1. Project Proposal Document (3-7 pages):

• Executive Summary: A quick overview of your idea.
• Background and Context: Why is this idea important for your community?
• Objectives: Clear goals and what you hope to achieve.
• Approach and Methodology: Your plan and steps to make it happen.
• Impact and Sustainability: Long-term benefits and how you’ll maintain it.
• Budget and Resources: What you need to get it done.
• Timeline: A detailed timeline for the first months.

2. Video Pitch: 1-4 minute reel (video) explaining the project and its impact, posted on your public profiles and linked in the application. (the profile must be public at least from the date of the application and by Nov the 30th when winners will be announced)
3. Supporting Materials: Optional extra documents or multimedia.

What You Could Win:

Prizes:

• International recognition and promotion: your project is promoted within an international network across 5 countries.
• Mentorship: Receive personalized guidance to perfect your idea in order to apply for funding (1 month/2x1hr sessions).
• Showcase Opportunity: Present your project at the NEBULA national conference in your country.
• Collaborative Development: Partner with national consortium partners to turn your idea into a groundbreaking national project. (depending on availability)
• Extra prizes are available at national level, please check with our partners for details.

How to Submit:

• Deadline: December 30, 2024.
• Language: English or national languages (RO, FR, IT, UA, PL).

How We'll Choose:

Evaluation Criteria:

Relevance to NEBULA Principles (20 points): How well does your project align with NEB’s values?

• Innovativeness (20 points): Is your idea fresh and original?
• Feasibility (20 points):Can your project realistically be implemented?
• Impact (20 points): What positive changes will it bring to the community?
• Community Involvement (10 points): How will the local community be involved?
• Presentation Quality (10 points): How clear and well-presented is your proposal?

Evaluation Process:

• Initial Screening: Verify all proposals meet basic requirements.
• Scoring: Each jury member scores using a standardized rubric.
• Discussion and Deliberation: Jury discusses top proposals to reach a consensus.
• Selection: One winning project per country (Romania, Italy, France, Ukraine, Poland).

Important Dates:

• Submission Deadline: December 30, 2024.
• Winner Announcement: January 15, 2025.
