Press Release NEBULA

Description:

A year ago we started implementing our wonderful project NEBULA with aims to address is the renewal and regeneration of urban/rural areas leveraging on the most important resources communities have: young people's attitudes and idea.

The starting point of this project is based on the ideas promoted by the New European Bauhaus that aims to redesign Europe, led by 3 concepts that will reshape and give new life to the environment we live in: accessibility, inclusion and sustainability. This movement has to be seen as a current of interdisciplinary subjects, connected by creativity, that will develop a new conception of meeting space, where different practices of sustainability and social inclusion are displayed.

A consortium from 6 European countries is working on the project and consists of:

- E-Juniors - Non-governmental organisation/association in France.

- FRAME - Foundation forthe Development of International and Educational Activity – is an NGO in Poland

- PRISM is anon-for-profit Social Enterprise in Italy

- e-Medine is a not-for-profit organization in Italy

- GEYC - Group ofthe European Youth for Change - is a Romanian NGO

- NFE 4Y is a non-profit, youth NGO in Ukraine

 

In May 2023, we began work on WP2 with collection of success stories and business models and started creating material for our Manual “The NEBULA Dos And Don’ts Manual For Young Entrepreneurs” which aimed at young aspiring entrepreneurs having the goal to equip them with the needed knowledge, and inspiration, to successfully lead a regeneration project. After the Manual was ready we conducted an assessment and collected feedback from young people about their learning needs, the quality of the prepared Manual in terms of the relevance of the information, as well as the accessibility and graphic design.

Manual “The NEBULA Dos And Don’ts Manual For Young Entrepreneurs” is available in 6 languages (English, French, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian)

Our first offline transperance partner meeting of the consortium took place in September 2023 in France. On this meeting we discussed project management of the project, all aspects of the mutual work of the consortium - the project implementation plan, its quality, indicators that need to be achieved, as well as the plan for dissemination. After that, we looked in detail at each work package of the project, and there are 5 of them, and developed a plan for further steps, responsibilities and deadlines.

Our second TPM meeting took place in Catania in April 2024 , where we discussed the status of all work packages, completed tasks, achieved goals, further work on the platform and training materials, preparation for the workshop and roundtable and distribution of materials. By this time, our platform with educational materials was launched and now you can find there:

"NEBULA Skills for Young Entrepreneurs" TThe program consists of three modules: Finance, Management, and Communication. Each module will include learning nuggets, which are short and concise educational content pieces that deliver specific information or skills. These activities include videos, articles, quizzes, or interactive modules.

"NEBULA methodology for youth workers" The e-course for each module of the methodology will consist of approximately 15 pages and cover topics such as inspiration, skills development, and practical application. Access to all platform materials requires a short registration (3 min)
